Morgane Tschiember - "I Poisoned Myself" - Opening Reception

Nourished by philosophy, Morgane Tschiember is interested in the shifts between physics and

metaphysics, between natural phenomena and the infinite interpretations that human beings

have developed to understand themselves.

Her work is rooted in a very down-to-earth, very physical dimension, focusing on a kind of

permanent hand-to-hand relationship with the material, deliberately leaving visible traces of

"doing", of gesture, showing both the production process and the trace of her own body.

Morgane Tschiember's exhibition is a space of contact imbued with a minimal romantic tension,

like that of fire on skin, burning without consuming.
