Heroes of Labor

EmblemHealth, a mission-driven health plan with an 80-year history of serving New York's communities, will host its 12th annual Heroes of Labor Awards on October 9, 2024. This year's awards will honor the work of rank-and-file union members from the city's transportation unions.

Honorees representing the Transport Workers Unions (TWU) Local 100 alongside Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) Locals 1056, 726, and 1181 are the backbone of our city, keeping New York moving and running. Their heroism in our vibrant city is not just a testament to their dedication, but an inspiration to us all.
