New York Times bestselling author and famed kitten rescuer with over 4 million social media followers Hannah Shaw (Kitten Lady) and professional cat photographer Andrew Marttila journey to over 25 countries to bring you cats from every corner of the world.

Husband and wife team Hannah Shaw (Kitten Lady) and Andrew Marttila have made cats their lives' work: they rescue and rehabilitate kittens, educate people on cat and neonatal kitten care, and capture our feline friends' unique personalities through writing and photography.

Now, in the project of their dreams, they've taken their passion for cats global. In Cats of the World, Shaw and Martilla journey across 25 countries to explore cat culture around the globe, documenting their travels with stunning photos and interviews with cat lovers from each country.

From England's charmingly worn pubs and candle-lit cathedrals, Greece's sunset-stained cliffs and white-washed homes, Kuwait's sandy beaches and glittering skyline, South Africa's bustling streets and lush mountains, and so many places in between, Cats of the World is a celebration of cats in their every form-- in settings magical and mundane-- and an enlightening exploration of what they mean to the people who love them most.

Hannah Shaw, also known as Kitten Lady, is an award-winning kitten rescuer, humane educator, and unwavering animal advocate who has dedicated her life to innovating kitten care and protecting the most vulnerable felines. She is the New York Times bestselling author of Tiny But Mighty, Kitten Lady’s Big Book of Little Kittens, Kitten Lady’s CATivity Book, and the Adventures in Fosterland series. She is also the founder of Orphan Kitten Club, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization saving the lives of neonatal kittens throughout the nation. She lives in California with her husband, Andrew Marttila, their cats, and an endless rotation of foster kittens.

Andrew Marttila is a professional animal photographer specializing in cats. Over the years he’s taken millions of photos of our feline overlords, which have been used in worldwide media in both digital and print—from the cover of National Geographic to Good Morning America. He is the creator of several books including Shop Cats of New York, Cats on Catnip, and How to Take Awesome Photos of Cats. He is also a board member of Orphan Kitten Club, and has hand-raised hundreds of rescued kittens along with his wife, Hannah Shaw.

Since finding her first cat on the streets 11 years ago, Christina Ha has been obsessed with cats. Christina is the co-founder and Pastry Chef at the popular patisserie, Macaron Parlour. Christina combined her passion for baking and adoration for cats as a co-founder of New York's first cat cafe, Meow Parlour. Meow Parlour has served as a foster home for over 3000 cats since opening in December 2014 and has had its own nonprofit since 2018. In 2017, Christina created Cat Camp, now known as Jackson Galaxy’s Cat Camp. Christina and her partner, Simon, are the parents of 5 well-fed cats. Every year, they foster several dozen neonatal kittens and fospice seniors.
