Author Kathy Wheeler Gueye’s third book, Bubble Fun In The Sun is written to continue to educate, enhance, and encourage children to enjoy the experience of mathematics!

Kathy Wheeler Gueye is motivated by her eight grandchildren and all children which she has a deep interest and commitment to bringing literacy to youth and their families in communities.

In her career as a Social Worker and her past work in the computer field, she has been creative in writing books which continue to promote reading and math incorporating the idea of infinite possibilities and imagination.

Kathy Gueye promotes early learning through prose, colors and math.

In 2015, Kathy received an acknowledgement letter from President Barack and First Lady Michelle Obama who are featured characters in When I Grow Up her first published work. The book follows a group of young children on an afternoon of indoor play as they talk about what they will be when they grow up. As the country invited a new era into the White House, children of all ethnicities realize they can achieve any goal they desire!

In 2017, One Shoe, One Sock was published. A counting book, the story takes you on a journey while teaching young people math. The characters are brought to life through mystery and numerals. The rhymes in this book lend itself to hours of a creative and fun way to play with words and learn word families. Children will enjoy learning their numbers and counting. It is a beautifully illustrated work that was inspired by the lives of her four grandchildren.
