Comedy Festival event for kids to raise the Kew Court House roof
15, 16, 17 April 2025
Kids are getting their own Melbourne International Comedy Festival experience at Kew Court House this school holidays.
Woody’s Giggle and Strum Show brings silly songs, hilarious storytelling and a mountain of ukeleles for a Comedy Festival show that’s perfect for kids and their grown-ups.
Woody has taught over 10,000 kids to play the ukelele over 23 years of belly laughs and joyous ensembles.
“As wild as a year 3 camp singalong. Imagine a school assembly if the principal had a ukelele and zero rules! In fact everyone gets a ukelele to create chaos with together.” – Woody, comedian, entertainer, teacher and children’s music specialist.
For four shows only, Woody’s playful escapade will raise the roof at the Kew Court House. Grown-ups welcome, if they don’t try to clean up afterwards, or during.
Presented by Boroondara Arts in association with the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
Suitable for ages 5 to 9. Ukuleles provided during the show. Seating is general admission.
