10 a.m.

As part of Law Week, Study Melbourne is hosting a presentation by Gabriella Marchetti Principal Lawyer at JobWatch and the International Student Accommodation and Employment Legal Service (ISEALS).

This session will address common problems experienced by students, including underpayment, visa uncertainty, gig work and precarious employment, sexual harassment and discrimination, sham contracting, and unfair dismissal.

International students who receive legal support report overwhelming gratitude and appreciation for the help they get. If you’re an international student or you work with international students, this discussion will connect you to tailored legal and advocacy services that are available now.

Getting help can make an enormous difference to how students experience life in Australia.
