Embarking on a multi-day hiking adventure is an epic and rewarding experience, but knowing where to start can be challenging. If you’re planning your first multi-day hike, stepping into the unknown can feel daunting. If you’ve tackled a few overnight hikes, you might be looking for ways to enhance your setup for a longer trek. We’re here to help!

Getting into multi-day hiking can feel overwhelming at first. With countless opinions on the best practices and gear, figuring out how to approach your first extended hike can be confusing. That’s why our expert team is here, to share straightforward tips to help you perfect your setup, so you can hit the trail with confidence in no time.

In this session, we'll cover:

- What essential multi-day gear should you take with you

- Safety considerations to keep in mind that are specific to multi-day hiking

- How to calculate distances for each day

- When to implement emergency protocols and how to handle communication

- Some great first multi-day hiking options around Victoria.

We'll also have some examples of multi-day hiking set ups (packed and unpacked) including all the gear and essentials you will need for your next trip.

- Tickets purchased are non-refundable

- All proceeds from ticket sales are donated to either an environmental charity or a partner not-for-profit (Such as For Wild Places)

- Tickets for those Under 15 are free. Proof of age may be requested upon entry.

- If you have purchased a ticket and cannot attend, you must provide at least 24 hours' notice.

- If you do not provide at least 24 hours notice, you will be considered a no-show and receive a strike against your name.

- Should you be a no-show for three events, you will be unable to purchase tickets for future events.
