NeoResus Advanced Resuscitation Program

NeoResus Advanced Resuscitation Program comprises a theoretical (web-based) learning component and a practical (skills based) training program.

Venue: Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne, HELP Centre

The Health and Learning Precinct (HELP) is located on Level 1 of the main building at RCH.

Program outline

Time: 9:30 to 15:30pm

Pre reading

You will receive all pre-reading and course information within your confirmation email once you have purchased a ticket.


Refunds will be provided at the absolute discretion of RCH and must be submitted in writing. Requests for refunds should be emailed to [email protected]


If a registrant is unable to attend you can nominate another person to attend in your place at no additional cost. Please advise substitutions in writing and email to [email protected].

Waitlist (for fully booked dates)

If the date you wish to attend is fully, booked, please add your name to the waitlist on the Eventbrite page. If a position becomes available, those on the waitlist will be offered a position in order of the list.

Pre-reading and preparation for the NeoResus Advanced Resuscitation Program

Please see the confirmation email that will come with your booking. This contains important information about the pre-reading, pre-quiz and preparation attendees are expected to complete prior to the day of your program.

COVID-19 Safe requirements

Please note the following are mandatory requirements for attending face-to-face NeoResus training programs at the Royal Children's Hospital

  • All attendees must be triple vaccinated against COVID-19 (two doses + a booster)
  • Proof of vaccination status will be required at check-in at RCH. Please have your COVID-19 vaccination certificate linked to your Services Victoria App, or bring a printed copy with you.
  • An N95 face-mask and eye goggles must be worn for the duration of the training program as we will be working in small groups in close proximity.
  • Please bring your own N95 face mask and eye goggles.

COVID-19 Screening check-point on entering the Royal Children's Hospital

  • RCH has a formal COVID-19 screening station for visitors and non-hospital employees
  • This is located in "Main Street"- the front entrance from Flemington Road.
  • If you are entering from the car park, the only lifts that are in operation are the Yellow Lifts which only allow you to exit at Ground Level (Main Street) at the COVID-19 screening check-points
  • All visitors must pass through the screening point before entering the hospital.
  • You will receive a visitor sticker which must be worn and visible at all times while in the hospital
  • Please allow at least an extra 20 minutes for this process- the queue can be longer in the mornings.

Please do not attend the hospital if you have any signs of COVID-19 infection. Please contact us via the details below asap to arrange for a refund or transfer to an alternative date (pending availability).

There is ample parking for visitors at the Royal Children's Hospital.

Please note: Due to the current COVID-19 screening requirements, you can only access the hospital via the Yellow Lifts from the car park.

Public Transport

There is tram stop right outside the hospital on Flemington Road,

To get to the hospital from the city, take

  • Tram 59 from Flinders Street Station (in Elizabeth Street)
  • Tram 58 from Toorak via William Street, City

To get to the hospital toward the city , take

  • Tram 59 from Airport West
  • Tram 58 from West Coburg

Tram and train tickets can be purchased from the RCH retail Wood Pharmacy, located in Main Street.
