MELB: BIG FISH LITTLE FISH INTERGALACTIC FAMILY RAVE feat. SPACEY SPACE

Get ready for take off* Melbourne, we are getting excited to have Spacey Space back on the BFLF decks for our Intergalactic Space themed rave!! We're talking Aliens, Astronauts, Droids, Dr Who, - bring your family as the whole Solar System (no, really, please... we'd love that!)

*Note we do promise to return you to earth at your designated landing time ;-)

Award-winning Family Rave Big Fish Little Fish is family fun for the post-rave generation of parents. Helping parents be responsibly irresponsible ;)

Part man, part myth, Spacey Space has been an interstellar presence in the Melbourne club scene for over 30 years. He is perhaps best known for his epic DJ sets performed at the infamous Prahran nightclub Revolver Upstairs. We cant wait to have him bring his celestial mixes to blast off Chasers dance floor!

BFLF residents Dave Juric and J-SLYDE are back playing us the best of old school classics to get the party started and bring it to close!

Chasers is a large venue with dedicated rooms for Craft and Play to explore. Please note there is no food at Chasers but you are welcome to bring snacks.

What can you expect?

• Kids Craft Area with giant mural, themed crafts, and a Magnatiles table for the littlest ones
• Face painting stalls

• Play area with tents and tunnels and a light up dance floor! Baby chillout space with mats
• Optional (but highly encouraged) fancy dress: Get Cosmic!
• Parents remain responsible for their children at all times
• Sound levels safe for ears of all sizes :) Do bring Earmuffs for kids who might be senstive to noise.

Who should come?

The event is aimed at families with younger children (8s and under) as craft and play activities are designed with this age group in mind - although older siblings are welcome. If your kids still like dancing with you - they'll enjoy it! Adults are not admitted unless accompanied by a child. A max of 3 children per adult. If there are more than 4 adults per child in your group please email [email protected] for pre-approval before buying tickets.

Tickets

Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred/sold on `Tixel. Each member of your group must have a ticket including pre-walking infants (generally 18 months or younger) who are free (but ticketed). Select Adult plus Pre-walker ticket to cover prewalkers.

Yep, it's a rave :)

Please be aware that events are standing/dancing with limited seating, club lighting rigs (no strobes) are used and events are busy with around 700-800 people at each party - which helps create the rave ambience. Chasers is an inside venue with no daylight. Each event is stewarded and risk assessed in advance. Sound levels are decibel checked to be safe for even the smallest of ears. Bring ear protectors for kids who are sensitive to noise. Please note that Chasers has some stairs to access different rooms.

Photography

We may photograph or film parts of the event and by entering you are giving your permission for these to be used for BFLF promotion purposes.

Prams and Changing

If you can manage it we suggest not bringing a pram. We recommend slings and carriers for comfort and for some heart to heart raving on the dance floor :) We realise some people will need to bring prams and there is a Pram Park but prams are not allowed on the dance floor for safety reasons. Changing facilities will also be available.

Getting there

Chasers is on the 78 Tram route and approximately 10 minutes walk from South Yarra, Prahan and Hawkesburn Train Stations.
