Masterclass in Postural Support: Advanced Hands-On Training for Complex Seating & Lying Needs.
Clinicians working with individuals who have complex postural needs face unique challenges in ensuring both functional mobility and postural protection.
This full-day, advanced hands-on training is designed to deepen clinical expertise in wheelchair seating and supported lying, equipping participants with practical skills to assess, problem-solve, and consider tailored postural solutions – even when products cannot be trialled in advance.
Through interactive learning, real-world scenarios, and hands-on practice, participants will explore the biomechanics of posture, refine palpation skills, and strengthen clinical decisionmaking to develop effective, individualised seating and lying intervention plans.
Unlike product-driven courses, this training prioritises human anatomy, biomechanics, and advanced clinical reasoning — equipping participants with the skills to assess and address each individual’s unique presentation and functional goals.
