Kids Acetate Self-Portrait Art Class

Looking for a fun and creative activity for the kids this school holiday? Join us at the Artists’ Candy Store, Art Shed, for an afternoon filled with self-expression and artistic adventures!

Ideal for Ages 8-12

✨ Creative Fun: Our awesome art teachers, Lenis & Kat, will guide kids through various cool artistic techniques and materials to create their own self-portraits!

🖼️ Art Exploration: In this 1 ½ hour class, kids will learn how to make expressive self-portraits on acetate sheets using paints, markers, and paper.

🌈 Self-Expression: Encouraging creativity and experimentation, this lesson is all about letting their imagination run wild and having fun with art.

What to Expect:

🎨 Hands-On Activities: Kids will try different artistic mediums and techniques.

🖍️ Personal Touch: Each child will create a unique self-portrait that showcases their personality and creativity.

😊 Fun Environment: A friendly and supportive space where kids can express themselves and make new friends.

Where and When: The class will be held at our Moorabbin retail store at 475 Warrigal Rd Moorabbin

Wednesday 10th July - 2pm - 3.30 pm

The class will start at 2 pm sharp, so please make sure you arrive 10 minutes early to ensure we can start on time.

Price? This class is $29, including all the needed supplies. You also get to take your masterpiece home! This will be paid upon booking.

Level of experience? Here at Art Shed, we believe art should be fun, joyful and available for all. This class needs no prior experience. We will start from the beginning, and you will leave confident in your new skills.

What will you learn? During this 1 ½ hour class, you will learn to create expressive self-portraits on acetate sheets using a variety of artistic mediums, including paint, markers, and paper. The lesson will encourage the students to be creative and self-expressive and experiment with different materials.

Important information

For this kids class we ask you bring a printed photo of your child, and a labelled bottle of water.

Parents will have space to wait during class and must sign their children in/out if they are leaving.

Both teachers have a current Working With Children Check

Minimum numbers: Bookings are absolutely essential as places are strictly limited. If our minimum class numbers are not met, the class may be cancelled and your money refunded.
