Learn Meditation from a Monk
Want to learn how to meditate? Maybe you have tried it before but feel like you still don’t ‘get it’ or can’t ‘do it’? Would you like to learn meditation from a Buddhist monk? Make meditation an enjoyable habit with free weekly sessions delivered by a Buddhist monk!
Over four sessions, you will learn to still your thoughts, let go of overpowering emotions, become deeply aware of everything you experience, and understand the nature of your mind. Each session will give you tools to develop calm, contentment, acceptance, and also allows you to progressively increase the time you are able to spend in sitting meditation.
These free sessions are suitable for those who are new or interested in learning meditation. You will have the opportunity to ask an experienced Buddhist monk your own questions about meditation.
Week 1: Immovable awareness: Learn the basic method of meditation
Week 2: Awareness of everything: Learn to become mindful of everything you experience
Week 3: Contemplative awareness: Learn to let go of stress and negative emotions
Week 4: Knowing awareness: Learn to understand your mind
