Tales of his most bizarre interactions with customers and fellow passengers make Confessions of a Railway Enthusiast a must-see for anyone who has ever belonged to a special interest community or worked in customer service. With performances of such iconic songs as 'Morningtown Ride' and 'Downtown Train' among others, Sam is joined by piano accompanist Rebekah Bennetts.

Confessions of a Railway Enthusiast is Sam's Melbourne International Comedy Festival debut. It previously played to a sold-out crowd at the 2023 Melbourne Fringe. His earlier show, Billy vs the Internet, premiered at the 2019 Melbourne Fringe and has since played several return performances.

Sam is a cast member in Puffing Billy Railway's interactive shows, Murder on the Puffing Billy Express and Day Out with Thomas, both of which allow him to combine his passion for steam railways with his passion for theatre. He is also a regular performer with Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Victoria, having appeared in all of their theatrical productions between 2022 and 2024. It was there that me met his friend and collaborator, Rebekah, working on a production of The Yeomen of the Guard. Together, their dynamic is sure to entertain and delight the audience.
