⛓️ Bound ⛓️ A Halloween Burlesque Show

You are bound. To this mortal coil. By the vulnerability of your own humanity to the horrors that lurk beyond the veil. Horrors so vast, we’ve banished them to the pages of books and called them fiction.

But yes, you know better. There is an unsettled stirring, a shiver down your spine, a shudder in your soul that tells you… all the stories are true.

This Halloween, the StoryVille giant library opens its Restricted Section. Each book, a portal to realms unseen, bound skin to spine, just like the fragile human souls who devour them. But in the turning of each page and conjuring of creatures, the real question is: who devours whom?

All Hallows Eve, the veil between realms is frail; and in a spectacle of storytelling, invocations and burlesque, we’re releasing the monsters within. Entities bound by fable and fantasy. And the madness made manifest by your own mind.

But perhaps the greatest fear of all, dear fragile human, is that when you dance in the darkness in your dalliance with the devil, what you feel is desire. In the shadowy recesses of humanity and spiritual seduction, you’ve found pleasure. The real fear, is who you might become when you are no longer bound.
