A NIGHT ON CLOUD NINE

Picture this… You’ve just finished pre drinks, and you’re heading into the city. You’re blasting your favourite Cloud Nine podcast the whole way there. You start your walk down King Street, heading straight to number 60. The lines big but the lineups even bigger so you know it’ll be worth it. You see the set times poster out front, Short Round’s playing at 1am in the Basement, so you have time to head to the rooftop to knock back a few WP’s. You do the rounds, then head out to the smokers and chew some randoms ear off for about an hour… You look down at your watch, it’s basement o’clock. Your legs are sore from walking a kilometer up and down the stairs, but you just know you’ve got to get down there ASAP. Jump is playing, people are slapping the walls and the floor is rumbling from the bass. It’s suddenly 7am, where did the time go? You walk outside, the sun is up, and you’re thinking “that was the best night of my life”...

Nostalgic right? Well Melbourne…here it is…
