WORLD SUMMIT ON WOMEN AND GIRLS
THE WORLD SUMMIT ON WOMEN AND GIRLS will commemorate the United Nations International Day of the Girl at Westminster Houses of Parliament, from 6-8 November 2024.
The Summit will bring together world leaders and influencers from government and community, as well as representatives of businesses from the private and public sectors, including entrepreneurs, investors, innovators, tourists, exhibitors, fashion enthusiasts, information seekers, the media and the general public from all over the world and all walks of life.
Under the theme, “Elevating Girls’ Voices for Sustainable Development”, the Summit will provide a platform for an inter-generational dialogue that will bring female leaders together with women and girls, and their male allies from different parts of the world to address opportunities, challenges, emerging issues, and realities on the ground impacting on the girls’ agency, leadership, and potential.
The Summit will also incorporate the IiChange Nations Justina Mutale Award for Iconic Female Leadership, which recognizes and celebrates outstanding female leaders.
