Wolfmother is a rock band hailing from Sydney, Australia. The band was formed in 2000 and currently consists of Andrew Stockdale (vocals, guitar), Ian Peres (bass, keyboards), and Hamish Rosser (drums).
Wolfmother first gained attention in 2005 with their self-titled debut album, which featured hit songs such as "Woman" and "Joker and the Thief". The album was a huge success, earning the band a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance in 2007. Their sound has been described as a mix of classic rock influences such as Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, combined with modern rock elements.
