- This bar doubles up as a community cafe, performance and events space and even a cinema. The beer list was once excellent, but now appears to have been rather drastically reduced. Reports welcome. 10 mins walk from Forest Gate or Wanstead Park stations - but note the opening times carefully and check before travelling (NB: we found it closed on our most recent visit despite having checked in advance). Also, Burgess & Hall next door has a small but good selection of beers, as well as an outstanding selection of wines and is worth a look.
