Paintings in Hospitals' mission is to transform the UK's health by using world-class art to inspire better health and wellbeing for patients, carers and communities. Studies show that art can help us stay well, aid our recovery, and support us to live longer, healthier lives. We believe everybody should have the opportunity to experience these benefits. We are committed to bringing great art to everyone through our artwork loans and art activities in all types of healthcare and social care. We work in partnership with patients and carers to transform and humanise clinical environments using art. Through creative workshops, we empower patients and carers with the skills and voice to make their own decisions about art and their care experience. By working together, and sharing our knowledge, we aim to create care spaces that support the wellbeing and enrich the lives of everyone.
