We invite you to embrace delicious French classics in the warm and relaxing ambiance of our stunning bistros. Cafe Rouge was launched in Richmond, London in 1989 by Karen Jones and Roger Myers, foodies on a mission to recreate real French food and wine in a Parisienne bistro-style setting.
Rouge was also the fave hangout for Bridget and friends in 'Bridget Jones's Diary', the novel that helped make us a household name. Today we continue to recreate core classics like Steak Frites, Moules and Confit de Canard as well as Croques, salads and baguettes available to enjoy with a gorgeous glass of French wine.
Our menu includes bistro favourites such as Confit de Canard, Bouillabaisse and Boeuf Bourguignon. Try the signature Steak Frites – aged for a minimum of 35 days, cooked just the way you like and served with your choice of frites or house salad. Sustainably-sourced Moules are delivered fresh to the restaurant and gently steamed to order in cream, garlic and white wine. Take time to take a little pleasure with the ones you love at your local bistro.
