UCL Centre for Finance Annual Lecture 2024: Romano Prodi
A former president of the European Commission, Professor Romano Prodi is a distinguished scholar, manager, and politician. He was a professor of economics at the University of Bologna, manager of IRI (one of the largest industrial conglomerates worldwide), and twice prime minister of Italy. He also has held many other positions, such as Minister of Industry in Italy and member of the Italian parliament. He has received many prizes, awards, and honorary degrees.
