The Selecter
The Selecter are a British two-tone and ska revival band formed in Coventry, England in 1979. The Selecter featured a racially diverse line-up and their music was a mixture of Jamaican ska, punk and soul. The band was one of the most successful ska bands of the late 70s and early 80s and were at the forefront of the ska revival movement.

The Selecter were formed by singer Pauline Black and guitarist Neol Davies, with the help of John Bradbury (drums), Desmond Brown (keyboards), Charley Anderson (bass), and Gaps Hendrickson (vocals). The band drew on a variety of musical influences, including reggae, ska, soul, and punk.
