Unknown Mortal Orchestra (UMO) is an American rock and pop band from Portland, Oregon. The band consists of Ruban Nielson (guitar, vocals, keyboards), Kody Nielson (drums, vocals, keyboards) and Jake Portrait (bass).

Formed in 2010, UMO have released several critically acclaimed albums and EPs, including their self-titled debut, II and Multi-Love, as well as their latest album Sex & Food. Their music is a unique blend of psychedelic rock, funk and soul, drawing influence from a variety of genres.

Their live shows are renowned for their energetic performances, featuring their signature blend of guitar, bass and drums, as well as a range of synths, samples and effects.

Kevin Morby
Kevin Morby is a talented American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and musician who has made a significant impact on the indie rock scene. His music is characterized by his soulful voice, eloquent lyrics, and passionate melodies that often draw from a mix of folk, rock, and pop.

Born and raised in Lubbock, Texas, Morby began his career in music in his early twenties when he moved to Brooklyn and joined the indie folk band Woods. He later went on to form his own band, the Babies, before releasing his debut solo album, Harlem River, in 2013.

The National
