Andrew Roberts is an internationally bestselling historian and biographer whose books include 48BGyRs,">span>, 3tQ5K7z(winner">span>(winner of the Grand Prix of the Fondation Napoléon) and 3HlsY8G.">span>. He is currently Visiting Professor at the Department of War Studies at King’s College, London, and the Roger and Martha Mertz Visiting Research Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University.

Tom Holland is an award-winning historian, biographer and broadcaster. He is the author of a series of books on ancient and early medieval history, including 3SiScLaspan> class="link sourcelink outlink" data-link="3HlB5C2and">span>and 426mrZ1.">span>. He also presents BBC Radio 4’s Making History, has written and presented several TV documentaries, for the BBC and Channel 4, on subjects ranging from ISIS to dinosaurs, and he has adapted Homer, Herodotus, Thucydides and Virgil for the BBC. He also co-hosts The Rest Is History podcast with Dominic Sandbrook.
