The stage adaptation of Hanif Kureishi's award winning novel The Buddha Of Suburbia is staged by the Royal Shakespeare Company in London this autumn! The 1990 story followed Karim Amar, a young mixed race man living amidst the backdrop of the turbulent late seventies in London.
Despite tumultuous social conditions, the 17-year-old Karim has to steer his way through as he comes of age, finding his way towards self-discovery and the quest for belonging in an ultimately joyful tale adapted for stage by Wise Children and the RSC.
