Sons of the East
Sons of the East is a three-piece indie folk rock band hailing from the eastern suburbs of Sydney, Australia. They are known for their captivating melodies, harmonious vocals, and unique sound that blurs the lines between genres, fusing together elements of folk, rock, pop, and blues.
The band consists of members Jack Rollins (vocals, guitar, banjo), Nic Johnston (vocals, guitar, banjo, mandolin), and Dan Wallage (drums, percussion), who all met in high school and have been making music together ever since. Sons of the East first gained recognition with their debut EP release "Already Gone" in 2013, which showcased their raw talent and musical versatility.
Since then, they have released two more EPs, "Sons of the East" and "Burn Right Through," and have toured extensively across Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and North America.
