Slowdive
Slowdive is an iconic rock-pop band that emerged in the late 80s and became one of the pioneers of the shoegaze genre. With their ethereal soundscapes, dreamy melodies, and mesmerizing vocals, Slowdive captivated listeners worldwide and left a lasting impact on the alternative music scene.

Formed in Reading, England in 1989, Slowdive was initially composed of guitarists and vocalists Neil Halstead and Rachel Goswell, bassist Nick Chaplin, drummer Adrian Sell, and later joined by drummer Simon Scott. The band quickly gained recognition with their debut EP "Slowdive," released in 1990, which showcased their unique blend of hazy guitar riffs and atmospheric sound.

Slowdive's first full-length album, "Just for a Day," came out in 1991, cementing their status as one of the leading shoegaze bands of the era.
