Shed Seven

Shed Seven is a renowned British alternative rock band, hailing from the vibrant music city of York. Emerging from the shadows of the indie rock scene in the 1990s, Shed Seven positioned themselves firmly in the sprawling world of Britpop. Their style oscillates seamlessly between melodic rock nuances to pop-infused, infectious anthems, etching an iconic status for themselves in the music industry.

Formed in 1990, the band originally consisted of frontman Rick Witter, guitarist/keyboardist Joe Johnson, bassist Tom Gladwin, and drummer Alan Leach. Paul Banks later joined as the lead guitarist in 1993.
