MONDAY
6:30 p.m.

Join us for Science or Fiction Live! A special live recording of The Science or Fiction Podcast, hosted by Dr Kathryn Bates (Research Fellow at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King's College London).

Dr Bates and youth advisor, Mariam Shah, will host an insightful interview with ADHD experts Shauna Campbell (Podcast Director of ADHD Babes) and Professor Ellie Dommett (Professor of Neuroscience at King’s College London), diving into the big questions surrounding self-diagnosis of ADHD.

Should we worry about online self-diagnosis? Is this trend contributing to rising ADHD rates? Explore why ADHD rates are increasing and how to use social media wisely when seeking ADHD information. Engage in the Q&A session to get your questions answered and stand a chance to win a bundle of popular science books signed by the authors in our subscription raffle. There will be merch, drinks, nibbles – and stimulating conversation! This free event aims to make mental health science accessible and useful to young people aged 16-24. Join us in-person or online.
