Rema is a Nigerian singer and rapper who shot to fame with his catchy pop hits and unique sound. Born Divine Ikubor in 2000, the young artist has already made a big name for himself in the African pop scene, and is considered one of the brightest talents to emerge from Nigeria in recent years.
Rema grew up in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, and was just a teenager when he began making music. In 2018, he released his debut single "Iron Man" which quickly became a hit, earning him praise for his emotive lyrics and captivating voice. Soon after, he signed a record deal with Mavin Records, one of Nigeria's biggest music labels, and began working on his debut EP.
