Protest the Hero
Protest the Hero is a Canadian progressive rock band from Whitby, Ontario. The group is best known for their ambitious songwriting and complex musical arrangements, as well as their politically charged lyrics.
Formed in 1999, the band’s lineup currently consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Rody Walker, lead guitarist Luke Hoskin, bassist Arif Mirabdolbaghi and drummer Mike Ieradi. Over the years, Protest the Hero has released five studio albums: Kezia (2005), Fortress (2008), Scurrilous (2011), Volition (2013), and Pacific Myth (2016).
Protest the Hero is widely considered one of the most important progressive rock bands of the 21st century.
