When it comes to progressive rock, few bands have made as much of an impact as Mother’s Cake. Formed in 2012, the Austrian quintet has quickly established themselves as one of the most energetic and unique acts in the genre.
Combining elements of classic and modern rock, as well as blues, funk, and jazz, Mother’s Cake creates a sound that is both melodic and hard-hitting. The band is fronted by vocalist and guitarist Christian “Tru” Trummer, whose soulful voice is complimented by the intricate guitar work of Andreas “Andi” Fulterer. The rhythm section of drummer Wolfgang “Wolf” Seidl and bassist Patrick “Paddy” Fulterer lay down a heavy groove that is truly infectious.
