Joy Oladokun

Joy Oladokun is a Nashville-based musician, songwriter and producer who is quickly gaining attention in the music industry with her powerful melodies and soulful lyrics. She has been featured on NPR, Billboard Magazine, and MTV, and is one of the few female African-American artists in the rock and pop music scene.

Joy Oladokun was born and raised in Arizona, where she started her musical career as a singer and songwriter. She started out by recording her own songs in her bedroom and posting them on SoundCloud. She has since released two independent EPs, Move & How Could I Forget, and her debut full-length album, In Defense of My Own Happiness, was released in 2018.
