Jim Bob is a British singer and songwriter known for his work in the rock and pop music genres. Born James Robert Morrison in 1960 in London, Jim Bob began his music career in the early 1980s as the lead singer of the band Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine.

As part of Carter USM, Jim Bob achieved chart success with several singles and albums throughout the 1980s and 1990s, including "Sheriff Fatman," "The Only Living Boy in New Cross," and "After The Watershed (Early Learning The Hard Way). " The band became known for their eclectic musical style, blending elements of punk, rock, and dance music with witty lyrics and social commentary.

After the breakup of Carter USM in 1998, Jim Bob continued to pursue music as a solo artist, releasing several critically acclaimed albums including "Goffam" and "A Humpty Dumpty Thing.
