The half day conference will feature four topical sessions with panellists drawn from the judiciary, investments funds and the legal and financial advisory communities. Sessions will be announced soon.
Following the conference, delegates are invited to join us for a drinks reception from 17:00-23:00 at El Vino Masons Avenue.

Session 1 - How to Convince (a Prince): The Art of Negotiation and Resilience
Keynote Speaker: Sam McAlister
Trained as a criminal barrister before spending over a decade working in the BBC’s elite news programmes, negotiation, strategy and public speaking have always been at the core of Sam’s work, and she will bring those insights and experiences to our opening session.
Session 2 - Valuation Viewpoints: How are they used and what do they (or can they) show?

In this session, panelists will reflect on different types, approaches to and methods of valuation, valuations in different contexts and their experiences to date.
Session 3 - The Role of Experts in Restructuring and Insolvency
Moderator: Hannah Crawford
Panellists: Clare Gilbert, Mouna Moussaoui, Clara Johnson and Lisa Rickelton
This panel session will cover the legal framework and process for instructing experts in English contentious restructuring and insolvency matters, the rules and duties governing the work of experts, as well as practical experience of instructing and acting as experts in a range of insolvency and restructuring situations.
Session 4 - View from the Bar and the Judiciary

In this session the panelists will share their views on topical and current issues which have featured or are likely to feature in restructuring or insolvency proceedings.
