HYBRID: EVA London 2024 - Computer Arts Society

SYNOPSIS

The EVA Conferences have always created a space for people using, or interested in, the new technologies in the arts, and to share their experiences, and network in a friendly, collaborative atmosphere.

EVA London’s focus is on the development and application of visualisation technologies to various domains, including art, music, dance, theatre and the sciences.

For 2024, our 34th year, the annual conference will again be held in mid-July. We are delighted to retain the hybrid mode developed during the pandemic, since this continues to broaden our worldwide contacts among academics and researchers.

EVA London 2024 will feature some 80 presentations and demos ‘In Person’ and ‘Online’ from this wider community of international author. There will also be some exciting Keynote Speakers and evening events.

In hybrid mode, with the BCS cutting-edge technology, we can stream live and mix in-person and online speakers, sharing similar contacts and interests. Those unable to come to London themselves, will be able to interact, question and discuss ideas with all of our other attendees, in London and worldwide.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

Our Registration Fee structure allows for a One Day attendance (£116), Three Day (£230) or Five Day (£285) full attendance at BCS London in Moorgate, including our free programme of early evening events, which can be found on separate Eventbrite forms linked here [TBC].

We also offer those who cannot attend in person to join us Online for a flat £116 fee. We have also added a hybrid registration to join us ‘In Person’ to present your paper and then enjoy the other four days ‘Online’ for £150. Those registering for any 3 days or 5 days can have an Online link gratis for their institution.

If attending only one or three days, please tick the box with which days you are attending so we can arrange catering.

AUTHORS PUBLICATION FEES

All successful authors will have their papers uploaded and accessible on the prestigious ‘Science-Open Academic Website’ in accordance with their fee structure.

The fees also include a bespoke YouTube upload of your EVA London Presentation.

Additionally, Full-Colour Conference ‘Hardcopy Proceedings’ books can be pre-ordered to pick up from Moorgate during the conference or posted worldwide, if you're unable to attend.

The hardcopy version ensures that your research will be carefully archived and available for future scholars, for many decades into the future.

All fees include VAT at 20% and booking will be via this Eventbrite site only.

• Hardcopy Proceedings (Post) = £88.00 (Reserve in advance, incl. postage and packaging for worldwide delivery)

REFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS:

A refund will be issued if a full cancellation is received within 14 days of the booking date or by noon (BST) on Monday, 24th June 2024. Otherwise, only name substitutions will be allowed after this date.
