Eddi Reader is a Scottish singer-songwriter, known for her unique blend of rock, pop, and folk music. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, in 1959, Reader began her music career in the early 1980s as the singer for the band Fairground Attraction.
Fairground Attraction achieved international success with their hit song "Perfect". However, after their disbandment in 1990, Reader embarked on a successful solo career. She has released over 10 albums, including the critically acclaimed "Eddi Reader Sings the Songs of Robert Burns".
