Join us for an music evening celebrating the creativity and talent of young women in music at the Girls in Synth Music Listening Party!

This event showcases an original song produced by a group of talented young women aged 18-24, who came together to collaborate and express themseves through music.

This project empowers young women to explore their musical potential, dive into the world of synth music, and express their creativity through electronic production and songwriting.

The Inspiration

The song was inspired by a powerful conversation with Historian Stella Dadzie learning about the impact of Black women's contributions to history, culture and social change. The young women involved used art and music as a vessel to share their own stories, blending history with modern electronic music, showcasing the voices of a new generation while paying homage to the past.

Girls in Synth Music program by Everyone's A Singer CIC empowers young women with the skills, confidence, and community to explore music technology, songwriting, and electronic production. This project was in partnership with The Collective Makers who led a Artistic exploration session and supported by Korg and Qube Studios.
