Dean Wareham Dean Wareham is a New Zealand-born singer-songwriter and musician who has achieved considerable success in the alternative rock, pop, and indie music scenes. His career began in the early 1990s when he founded the band Galaxie 500, which released three acclaimed albums before disbanding in 1991. He then went on to form the band Luna, which released six highly successful albums between 1992 and 2005. Wareham also released two solo albums, which received critical praise and achieved commercial success.
