Dazed x MUBI Cinema Club: HOARD

Last month, Dazed x MUBI Cinema Club returned for its new autumn season, kicking off with a preview of Coralie Fargeat’s dark satire The Substance. Now, the season continues with an upcoming screening of hoard-uncompromising-gross-out-teen-drama-film-luna-carmoon-joseph-quinn,">span>, the debut feature film from the British director Luna Carmoon, who recently took home a BFI and Chanel Filmmaker Award for Creative Audacity. She’ll also be on hand at the Dazed x MUBI Cinema Club screening, for a Q&A session with former Dazed Editor and AnOther Contributing Editor, Claire Marie Healy.

Hoard stars stranger-things">span> actor Joseph Quinn and Saura Lightfoot Leon as a slightly feral duo who pair up on a tender but unruly quest for happiness.

Hoard is streaming on MUBI as part of a new season, girls-uk,">span>, which offers a multi-faceted exploration of girlhood. Instead of being moulded by conventional narratives surrounding girlhood, the heroines spotlighted in this collection of films – like Maria – dare to carve out their own paths.
