Cancer Research UK Brain Tumour Conference 2024
24 September - 26 September 2024

World-leading researchers will present their latest research alongside presentations from early-career researchers selected from submitted abstracts. The programme will include panel discussions, poster discussions, and prizes that will encourage further interactions.

We will explore emerging ideas, novel tools and recent developments in brain tumour research – from the transformative potential of new technologies and machine learning to improve our fundamental understanding of the unique environment of brain tumours to rapidly evolving advances in cancer therapy.

Across three days, we'll bring together a diverse community of discovery research and translational and clinical perspectives on brain tumours.

Major themes include:

• 3D genomes

• Spatial sequencing

• Artificial intelligence and machine learning

• Brain tumour metabolism

• Model organisms and the tumour microenvironment

• Brain tumour metastasis

• Clinical trials

Inclusive research and innovation events

We've prioritised embedding Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) across all our research activities to help foster environments that support innovation and creativity. Our research events are designed to showcase cutting-edge science, bring together an international scientific community and facilitate collaborations.

We want to provide welcoming and inclusive research events where we inspire, inform and engage a range of researchers and promote a positive research culture for everyone. To support this, we've developed a code of conduct to set out our expectations for everyone involved in our research events.
