Skillet is an American rock and alternative rock band from Memphis, TN, that has been performing since 1996. Formed by lead vocalist and bassist John Cooper, lead guitarist and backing vocalist Korey Cooper, drummer and percussionist Jen Ledger, and guitarist and keyboardist Seth Morrison, the band has released nine studio albums, two live albums, and two EPs.

Skillet has achieved critical and mainstream success, having been nominated for four Grammy Awards and winning two Billboard Music Awards. Their hit songs “Monster” and “Hero” have both been certified Platinum, and their albums have reached multi-platinum status. The band is known for their hard-hitting lyrics and anthemic choruses that have earned them a loyal fan base.
