Bernard Butler is an English singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer who is best known for his work in the alternative rock scene. He is renowned for his innovative guitar playing, melodic compositions, and for his involvement in numerous high profile collaborations.
Born in London in 1970, Butler began learning the guitar at the age of nine and soon became a proficient musician with a deep love for music. After attending a number of music workshops, he joined the indie rock band Suede in 1992 as a guitarist and co-songwriter. With Suede, Butler wrote and co-produced several hit singles, including "The Wild Ones" and "Stay Together".
