An Industrial Design Exhibition

Welcome to An Industrial Design Exhibition by Morrama

Taking place in Hackney Depot, an opportunity to meet the team and see behind the scenes at this award-winning studio.

The exhibition will give insights into the day-to-day studio projects and the Morrama Lab, a division for future-facing design, from prototypes to never-before-seen visuals of various projects created in the last 9 years.

Talks will be hosted by the Morrama team with special guests to be announced very soon. Expect content that covers innovative materials and inspiring speculative design.

The party will have free drinks, food from Wagamama and DJs. This will be a chance to discuss projects and the industry direction with the whole team. The exhibition will be open throughout.

Introduction by Jo Barnard, Founder and Director of Morrrama.

Conversation 1: "Talking of sustainability..."

What sustainability means when it comes to design and resource use and how we navigate the conversations, handle differing opinions and ensure that the planet always has a seat at the table.

Conversation 2: "The importance of speculative design"
Design can capture a moment or determine the future. In order for us to be leaders, we have to explore what comes next. Speculation and play are vital tools for designers.

Questions from the audience are very welcome. Special guests to be announced.
