We are deeply concerned about you. The continuous infiltration of content creators like you into the music industry is becoming a thre@t to the love and value of art in the African entertainment scene. This trend has led to every content creator wanting to become an artist. From Shallipopi to Youngi Duu to Peller, and even Carter Efe, we now see comedians who should be focused on comedy signing artists and encouraging mediocrity in the music industry, which does not project a good image for us internationally.

Please take a moment to reflect on the challenge you launched and consider the potential impact it could have on your community. How do you feel seeing a legend like Aki ridiculing himself on TikTok to promote your music? You went ahead to repost it on your Instagram with millions of fans. What are you encouraging with that challenge, and what message are you sending to the younger generation?

On behalf of all those who cherish the art of music in Africa, we want to say enough is enough.
