Considering the different kinds of issues that children and teenagers are dealing with daily, getting it right as a caregiver is no longer an option.
The bulk of the responsibilities are resting on the shoulder of the school as in most cases, the reality is that they are dealing with several children from various dysfunctional homes. It is therefore imperative to get it right in the area of professional counseling.
Counseling is no longer business as usual, the children and adolescents of this generation need mental health help that is readily available, and understanding the skills and best practices of professional counseling is a compulsory necessity for all teachers, school owners, counselors, and caregivers.
As part of our Sensitisation CSR, the Institute of counseling is inviting school owners, administrators, teachers, and especially school counselors to our yearly breakfast counseling training. This training is packed, informative, and highly interactive, every school needs this to get it right with the emotional, behavioral, psychological, and cognitive development of the students.
There shall be a certificate of participation and room for subscription to our “You are not alone campaign” as well. Attendance is FREE!
Interested schools should forward the names of participants to counselor@instituteofcounseling.org
