Thair Hussain
Thair is the Executive Director, Global Sales, for Phillip Nova Pte Ltd. He is responsible for growing and developing the international derivatives business for Phillip Nova since 2009. Thair has over 30 years of experience in the futures broking industry.
Thair began his career as an Assistant Dealer with Green & Collier in 1986, before moving on to be a Gold Dealer with the Bank of New York in 1989. 3 years later, Thair joined Refco, where he remained for over 13 years before leaving the firm as Vice President, Commodity Head. Following Refco, Thair served as Senior Vice President for MF Global as before joining Phillip Nova.
Judith Ganes
Judith Ganes, founder and president of J. Ganes Consulting, LLC—a leading, independent commodities research and consulting services company—that provides subscription-based research services to food and agricultural industries, acts as an advisor on commodity pricing, as well as conducts customized educational training courses and workshops worldwide on risk management principles and techniques through the value chain. Ms Ganes is a noted expert instructor on futures and options hedging.
Ms Ganes is a Co-Founder of Taka-Insights, a data and analytics platform headquartered in Haarlem, NL. Always a believer in life-long learning, most recently, she completed a Professional Education program with a rating of Excellence in all courses taken with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) on Artificial Intelligence and No-Code Machine Learning
Ms Ganes has served as the Senior Advisor to the Asian Coffee Association as well as on numerous advisory panels. She has been a featured speaker at more than 200 conferences and events worldwide and has visited over 100 countries, with more than 40 that produce coffee and/or cocoa. Prior to starting J. Ganes Consulting in 2001, Ms. Ganes spent nearly two decades on Wall Street working for major brokerage houses as a Senior Commodities Analyst for their many institutional and retail clients specializing in coffee, sugar, cocoa, cotton, and orange juice.
