Emerging from the vibrant musical landscape of Chicago, this band has veered away from the cookie-cutter mold of rock music, continuously challenging the genre stereotypes through their unique approach of storytelling.

Ratboys was formed in 2011 by Julia Steiner and Dave Sagan, who met while attending the University of Notre Dame. The seeds of their eclectic sound were sown in the college radio station's recording studio where they started creating their early tracks. It wasn't long before their mesmerizing sound cascaded beyond the university corridors and drew much-deserved attention.
