The Slow Readers Club is a four-piece rock and pop band from Manchester, England. Formed in 2009, the band consists of Aaron Starkie (vocals, guitar), Kurtis Starkie (guitar), James Ryan (bass) and David Whitworth (drums).
The Slow Readers Club have been steadily building a name for themselves on the UK music scene since releasing their debut album, "Cavalcade," in 2012. The album gained critical acclaim and led to the band's first UK tour, as well as appearances on BBC Radio 1, Radio X and even a performance at Glastonbury Festival.
Their follow-up album, "Build A Tower," was released in 2016 and solidified the band's reputation as a top-tier live act.
