This Summit brings together leaders and strategic thinkers from across career development to discuss the rapid changes impacting the world of work and what they mean for the future of career development. Exploring major topics such as skills shortages, changing demographics and the shift to an AI/digital and net zero economy, the Summit will use expert talks and panels to outline key issues for attendees to debate and identify implications for the career development profession.
The world of work is changing at an ever-increasing rate. Driven by rapid advances in technology, global movement of people, demographic changes and the climate crisis, the skills and jobs needed for the economy will continue to evolve at a rapid pace.
The career development profession needs to understand and respond to these changes, both in terms of addressing the implications for its own workforce and in establishing itself as a positive part of the solution to meet the challenges and opportunities these factors present.
The CDI Summit brings together thought leaders on these critical areas to share the strategic view of the likely impacts on the UK and global workforce, along with leaders in policy, delivery, research and practice across the careers profession to discuss the implications for career development and identify critical actions to move the profession forward.
